About the event
Susan Schneider, Ph.D., Western Michigan University - Climate activist, behavioral psychologist, and award-winning author of The Science of Consequences
Susan focuses on what community groups can do to address climate change, as detailed in the book "Climate Action Planning: A Guide to Creating Low-Carbon, Resilient Communities". The book lays out all the local climate action steps in detail, with lots of real-life examples from small to large cities across the US. These include how to accomplish a greenhouse gas inventory, and how community groups can (and should) be involved.
